Thermal Path & Cooling

We design the thermal path first, not as an afterthought.

Heat moves from copper → stator → case → finned outer housing. By keeping that path short and direct, we stabilise temperatures under load without needing complex liquid systems for most duty cycles.

How we manage heat

  • Finned carbon-fibre / alloy housings for surface area and stiffness
  • Direct contact interfaces between stator, carrier, and case
  • Passive airflow at vehicle speed – no pumps, fewer failure points
  • Layouts that keep sensitive electronics away from hot zones

Baseline systems are built for passive cooling. Where platforms demand extreme duty or harsh environments, liquid or hybrid cooling can be added on top of the same core architecture.

For OEMs this means predictable thermal behaviour, simpler systems, and fewer surprises when vehicles move from dyno to real-world operation.
